My first memory of Tara is when she gave the best MOH toast I have EVER heard at her sister’s wedding. Y’all. The girl is a riot. I was obviously thrilled to shoot her and Ryan’s engagement session, and it did not disappoint.

We originally planned to shoot at the cute old-fashioned soda shop in downtown Davidson, N.C., but we were not quite prepared for the orange traffic cones, tables set up outside the shop and crowds of people passing through after the Davidson Christmas parade. Slightly bummed but undeterred, Tara got a cone at Ben and Jerry’s instead and we moved our shoot down the street. I had a ball hanging out with Tara and Ryan last weekend! Their photos are bursting with fun, joy, laughter and the sweet love that they have for one another—you can’t help but grin from ear to ear.
