I have come to love my little pocket of this city, the little world that we’ve explored and crafted to be all our own. Pair that with the wonderful people who I’ve been lucky to call my clients and we’ve got some magical photo sessions. Atlanta was really showing off for us this warm October day and I’m in love with the work we created.
Jackie came to me as a referral from my sweet bride, Andrea, when they were both amidst wedding dreams while full-timing their intense nursing program at Emory–Andrea nearing the finish line and Jackie just getting started. At first, Jackie and Greg were envisioning an urban setting and Atlanta skylines. Then I shared Chelsey and Dallas’ meadowy engagement session and Jackie had all the heart eyes. Idea generator that I am, I had just the combo up my sleeve to make both sides of Jackie’s vision come through.
Over the last couple years, Thomas and I have enjoyed exploring and finding rest in our favorite park in a quiet neighborhood nearby. It’s our go-to place for walks, eno hanging, reading, games of frisbee and spikeball, and the best Sunday evening picnics with our best buds. I was thrilled to introduce Greg and Jackie to my favorite urban escape, followed by own first adventure to Jackson Street Bridge.
When I look back at this shoot, I swear I was photographing celebrities. On their own, Greg and Jackie couldn’t possibly make a bad photo and their love for each other was totally palpable. I’ve said it before, but they are a lovely and stunning pair. Together with Jackie’s daughter, they are going to make the most amazing family and I’m delighted to have shared in a little sliver of their life by capturing that love. Plus, I think the family that dabs together stays together. 🙂 Thanks for adventuring, laughing and exploring with me, y’all!
